Dermatological diseases are some of the most common human illnesses across geographies and time. Worldwide the prevalence of skin diseases range from 14% to 87%.They can occur at any age and they contribute to physical and psychological disabilities. Although up to 3000 conditions have been identified, the common ones include acne, dermatitis, psoriasis, skin infections, alopecia, allergy, pruritus, vitiligo etc. Skin diseases have a broad and burdensome impact on the patient’s health and well-being, quality of life and self esteem. Topical as well as systemic agents are used for the treatment of these conditions.
